We are happy to announce that Next2U, “IDSIA – Dalle Molle Institute for Artificial Intelligence, USI/SUPSI (CH) ” and “TOELT GmbH (CH)” will be collaborating on a brand-new project called HIRA (Hybrid InfraRed System for Affective Computing) funded under the Eureka Eurostars programme.

HIRA will create the most advanced tool for non-contact, real-time affective computing, endowed with touch-less sensing for psychophysiology, behavioral analysis, and intelligent engines capable of learning from previous experiences and affective states

With most cutting-edge methods such as: combined hybrid near IR and thermal IR imaging, super-resolution techniques for image processing based on AI, and sophisticated emotional intelligence algorithm, HIRA will define a new standard in the state of the art in affective computing and human-machine interaction
